On the occasion of the centenary of its first visit to the Capital, the exhibition presents not only its most famous masterpieces, but also unpublished works never before exhibited, offering the public an extraordinary and unique experience of its kind.
  • Conversation Piece Part IX The Library of the World
Where: Fondazione Memmo Until: 21 April 2024 Description: This exhibition at the Memmo Foundation offers an immersion in the legendary library of the intellectual Umberto Eco, with thirty thousand volumes. Through works arranged in a path that starts from the facade of Palazzo Ruspoli, the exhibition returns a metaphor of Rome as an open-air library.
  • Jannis Kounellis Night at Maxxi
Where: Maxxi of Rome Until: 30th April 2024 Description: A tribute to the artist Jannis Kounellis who changes the relationship between the works and those who watch them, focusing the project on the link with the theater and the performative actions.
  • Reality: Optional. Miaz Brothers with the Masters of the 20th Century
Where: Gallery of Modern Art From: 24 February to 26 May 2024 Description:Explore the border between reality and imagination with the fascinating dialogue between the original works of the Miaz Brothers and the great masterpieces of the collection of the Gallery of Modern Art. This unique exhibition project offers the public the opportunity to compare the experimental approach to portraiture of the Miaz brothers with the Masters of the twentieth century, thus inaugurating an artistic and cultural journey on the occasion of the centenary of the Gallery of Modern Art. With about 60 works total, the viewer becomes an integral part of an intriguing game of perception and interpretation of reality.
  • Carla Accardi at Palazzo Esposizioni
Where: Palazzo Esposizioni Until: 9 June 2024 Description: A large anthological exhibition dedicated to Carla Accardi on the occasion of the centenary of her birth, with about one hundred works dating from 1946 to 2014.
  • Ouka Leele
When: From 17 April to 7 July 2024 Where: Museum of Rome in Trastevere Description: Winner of the National Prize for Photography in 2005, Ouka Leele has left an indelible mark on the contemporary art scene. Designed to continue the exhibition of photographers of the "movida madrileña" of the eighties, the exhibition will present about 90 works, ranging from the first exhibitions as "Peluquería" up to the last works such as the series "A donde la luz me lleve" and the botanical drawings of "Floreale".
